Abstract:

This paper presents the results of a study to investigate the feasibility of using a gas chromatographic (GC) technique for the measurement of non-radioactive krypton gas concentrations in water. Gas handling and cleanup apparatus are discussed. The study demonstrates that current GC technology will provide sufficient sensitivity to conduct reaeration rate measurements on small to medium size streams.
