Abstract:

Kiewit Pacific is building a high-risk lock project for the Portland District of the Corps of Engineers. We are participating in a partnering technique for contract management. Partnering appears to be an excellent means to improve Contractor-Owner relations. This paper presents our experience to-date and some ideas on how to make partnering a success.
