Abstract:

Decision Support Systems are appearing with increased frequency in the domain of Water Resources Planning and Management. Efficiency and precision have become issues of primary importance in the management of main irrigation distribution systems. A Decision Support Tool for the operation and management of main open channel delivery systems can facilitate evaluation and increased performance of these systems. A conceptual design for such a system is proposed.
