Abstract:

Removal of OCP in sequencing batch reactors was shown to be independent of the presence or lack of co-substrate and independent of SRT for fully aerated reactors. The reactors with an anoxic phase have shown to remove OCP in the presence of co-substrate and were unable to remove OCP without co-substrate at SRT below 15d.
