Abstract:

This paper discusses the various roles and relationships that the South Pacific Division has for HTW activities within the division's four-state area (CA, AZ, NV, and UT). SPD is involved in all phases of those HTW programs which implement the Comprehensive Environmental Restoration, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) in support of other DOD and Federal Agencies. The division is using its Sacramento District to implement all HTW design activities for projects within the four states.
