Abstract:

This paper extends tha Water Availability Index concept to downstream reservoirs in the Apalachicola-Chattahochee-Flint (ACF) system. This extended index should be helpful in adjusting limited water resources in the basin to provide an equitable distribution to the various users and to alleviate localized extreme conditions in one of the subbasins.
