Abstract:

Susequent to an increased incidence of giadiasis in the coomunity in 1982 it became evident that Westpac had to improve its disinfection process and its ability to determine their effectiveness. In the two-pronged approach, the physical plants were improved by the construction of chlorine basins and staff was trained in giardia identification. The practices of C.t. disinfection in open chlorine contact basins are described
