Abstract:

Unmitigated, platforms and associated facilities in the OCS typically emit large quantities of air pollution from power generation, drilling, transportation and other activities related to petroleum production. This paper describes the efforts undertaken by the County of Santa Barbara to mitigate the emissions of three projects currently operating or under construction in the OCS offshore Santa Barbara.
