Abstract:

The law passed by the Danish Parliament on the construction of a combined bridge and tunnel across the 18 km wide Great Belt, included an environmental design criteria. This has initiated remarkable opportunities for technical developments within the fields of environmental impact modelling and monitoring. This paper will focus on the monitoring system related to the environmental control measures and studies associated with the construction of the Great Belt Link.
