Abstract:

The Arizona Division of Emergency Services (ADES), in cooperation with Arizona State University (ASU) - Center for Advanced Research in Transportation, and the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) are currently developing a statewide post-incident hazardous materials reporting system. This paper describes issues surrounding the development, and adoption of the system, and the methods by which voluntary participation in the system is being solicited.
