Abstract:

Utilizing three-dimensional equilibrium equations (often referred to as an Equilibrium Method (EM)), an estimation of transverse stresses for fiber-reinforced laminated doubly curved shells is presented. A set of isoparametric regular and transition shell elements is considered in this investigation.
