Abstract:

A team of consultants studied the impacts of stormwater and combined sewer overflows on an urban drainageway to determine if increased beneficial stream uses were attainable. Planning-level loading-generator models and a steady-state receiving stream model were used. We identified the principal causes of water quality problems during non-storm and storm conditions. Follow-on analytical efforts will be directed toward these identified problems.
