Abstract:

This study combines the use of several standard tools of hydrology (synthetic hydrology, flood risk analysis, reservoir simulation) with newer considerations of increased demand for water supply and the prospects of global warming, and derives explicit measures of alternative policies for controlling floods and meeting the community's water-supply needs.
