Abstract:

This paper presents a control system for the automatic operation of a sewage intercepter with control gates to reduce sewage discharge to the receiving waters. One of the issues of the control algorithm is the automatic operation of the control gates to minimize discharges of the sewage effluent in case of small floods arriving to the intercepter.
