Abstract:

Water resources literature suggests that computer based models have the potential to provide useful information in facilitating water resources decision making process. Therefore, continuous investigation and evaluation of actual application of water resource models are necessary to improve and enhance future model development and use. This paper presents information from both water resource modelers and practitioners on the latest issues of water resource model development and application. The paper suggests guidelines for future model development and use.
