by David Lewis Feldman, Oak Ridge Natl Lab, Oak Ridge, United States,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: High Level Radioactive Waste Management 1991

Abstract:

This paper assesses the appropriateness of the U.S. Army's Chemical Stockpile Disposal Program's (CSDP) Intergovernmental Consultation and Coordination Boards (ICCBs) as models for incorporating public concerns in the future siting of high level waste (HLW) repositories by DOE. ICCB structure, function, and implementation are examined, along with other issues relevant to the HLW context.
