Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the design and construction techniques of fiberglass composite underground storage tanks. The scope of this paper is limited to the straight shell due to space limitation. Additional topics will be discussed in future papers, including end caps, center joints, fitting design, buoyancy design and installation criteria.
