Abstract:

The relationship between soil moisture content and hydraulic conductivity with the soil tension be defined to simulate unsaturated flow in a porous media. Direct measurements of these relationships can be very difficult and time consuming. This paper describes a simple method to back calculate this information using upward infiltration data from a soil column.
