Abstract:

An array of resource conservation and water quality issues are providing research challenges and opportunities in soil and water, irrigation, and drainage. The key to addressing these diverse issues will be development, evaluation and appropriate application of integrated management practices. The impact of many soil conservation management practices on surface and ground water quality have not been thoroughly evaluated. Management practice research needs to address resource conservation and water quality issues are discussed.
