Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Irrigation and Drainage

Abstract:

Performance measures are developed which facilitate analysis of irrigation water delivery systems in light of the objectives of adequacy, efficiency, dependability and equity and of water delivery. The measures provide a quantitative assessment, not only of overall system performance, but also of contributions to performance from both structural and management components of the system. Example applications give a flavor for the usefulness of the proposed measures in system evaluation.
