Abstract:

In response to the problems that recent droughts have exposed, the Corps of Engineers is conducting the National Water Management During Drought Study. The primary purpose of the study is to develop a consensus on water resource priorities to serve as a basis for regional and national water management decision-making in drought situations. The paper discusses the study and other aspects of the subject.
