Abstract:

In proposing and evaluating a construction system for a lunar base, the question of cost would be the most important one. Although it is not possible to conduct a detailed cost study at the present time, it is necessary to consider macroscopically the types of building materials from a cost point of view. This paper presents results of cost study on concrete to be produced on the moon. A concrete production system was quantitatively analyzed and a cost model was formulated in this paper.
