Abstract:

The optimal construction system for many space construction projects is a mixed construction ensemble. Such an ensemble consists of humans, robots with varying degrees of teleoperation and autonomy, and self-deploying structures. The methods of realtime management of such an ensemble have yet to be developed and proven. Musical theory is presented as a paradigm to facilitate the study of such a control methodology. A limited application of music theory and notation to telerobotic control is presented.
