Abstract:

This paper summarizes qualitative issues of electrical power distribution for near-term lunar facilities. The issues to be discussed were developed during a conceptual study of a Lunar Liquid Oxygen Plant (LLOX). Issues are discussed based on current terrestrial technology and construction techniques. The discussion identifies areas for further detailed study and evaluation.
