Abstract:

In order to secure safe execution of steel bridge erection work, development of a comprehensive checking system to set up safety countermeasures at the stage of construction planning prior to the initiation of the work was achieved. The developed system for evaluating construction planning includes four steps: 1) Collection of various data for assessment; 2) Ranking of the potential risks of the steel bridge erection work; 3) Check the basic safety measures for execution of work; and 4) Check the safety measures against inherent accidents in steel bridge erection work.
