Abstract:

In this paper physical parameters and inner states of structure can be estimated from the input and responses in shaking table test by means of Extended Kalman Filter (SIEKA). Comparing with other methods this algorithm of structure identification (by SIEKA) does not need accurate initial estimates and is good at identifying physical parameters and inner states directly and dynamically. Not only every stiffness, and every damping of the structural model, but also every storey displacement can be estimated. According to this method, the results of SIEKA's application to two chained-multi-degrees-of-freedom structure models in shaking table test are given.
