Abstract:
Based on results of seismic hazard analysis for a considered site, seismic reliability of a strengthened RC single-story industrial building against collapse has been evaluated. Inelastic time history analyses with scaled recorded and artificially generated accelerograms were completed. Multiple regression on Chinese and Japanese experiment results on RC short columns gave an ultimate deformation at collapse points. Aseismic reliability of the building in 50 years were determined. The most dangerous elements in the building were found.
