Part of: Structural Safety and Reliability

Abstract:

A method is proposed for modeling electric power transmission systems. The model can be used to evaluate the reliability of the network connectivity in a seismically active region. It focuses on how a damage of transmission cables caused by a damage of their surrounding structures will affect the network connectivity. The effect of damage of electric facilities is also discussed.
