Abstract:

Two statistical models of the concentration of suspended sediment on mud coasts have been developed by using the stepwise regression method. The statistical analysis in this paper is based on the field data of the mud coast of Lianyungang, China. The regressional models provide an essentially complete statistical description of the processes of fine-grained sediment on opened mud coasts.
