The Relationship of Milligrams Per Liter to Parts Per Million
by David T. Williams, West Consultants, Inc., United States,Document Type: Proceeding Paper
Part of: Sediment Transport Modeling
Abstract:
Derivations of the relationships between mg/l and ppm are presented. Although forms of these relationships can be found in scattered references, the author's intent is to clarify the meaning and use of these relationships and to place them in a forum for maximum use. In addition, these relationships were expanded to take into consideration specific gravities of fluid, dissolved solids and particulate solids, and concentrations of the solids.
