Abstract:

Concerns for protecting groundwater quality have brought forth some strict EPA regulations on equipment required for injecting pesticides into irrigation systems. These chemigation equipment requirements are reviewed along with problems in implementation and reliability. Some alternatives are given that could have a big impact on small acreage irrigators.
