Abstract:

This paper proposes a procedure to generate a set of compromise alternative solutions between maximization of benefits and maximization of acceptance. A small set of near optimal strategies, perturbations about some of the best alternatives, are also given. The generations of all the alternatives are based on a very efficient optimization technique, the constrained calculus of variations.
