Abstract:

The West Coast Regional Water Supply Authority is the public agency charged with the development of public water supply for the Tampa Bay Area in the state of Florida. The Authority's South Central Hillsborough County Regional Wellfield produces a raw water of variable quality with respect to H2S. Depending upon the volume of water being produced and which wells are in operation, the amount to be split from total raw water flow and aerated is determined. The process control system for this flow split is described.
