Abstract:

The success of an artificial recharge project can be directly tied to the quality of planning of the potential projects and/or sites. The paper's purpose is to identify the basic parameters have been compiled into three general areas. They are 1) Project purposes, 2) Recharge methods, and 3) Site characteristics. These basic concepts are critical to selecting the appropriate recharge method and site(s) which will meet the project sponsor's objectives.
