Abstract:

In Tunisia, because the water resources are limited, the reuse of treated wastewater in agriculture becomes a necessity. The artificial ground water recharge is one of alternative forms to reuse the reclaimed water. The objectives of this study is to determine the mechanism of the recharge and the chemical evolution of the injected wastewater. The use of isotopic tracers constitutes a useful tools for the investigation of the ground water recharge.
