Abstract:

The NEC corporation head office building is under construction at Shiba Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. This building is a highrise building of steel structure with the height of 180m. The structural system of this building was named Super-Frame structure which had mega frames with large trussed columns and latticed girders. This paper introduces the structural and seismic design of the NEC corporation head office building.
