Abstract:

The design, construction, and performance assessment of lunar structures are unprecedented in nature. Experts in these areas tend to use qualitative measures when expressing their judgment. These measures could be misinterpreted since no consistent measures have been developed. The writers recommend the use of fuzzy set concept to cope with these potential problems. A relatively simple method is demonstrated in this paper to illustrate the use of this concept graphically.
