Abstract:

If a permanent lunar base is to be built on the Moon, most of the materials for the construction would be made from in situ resources. From economic viewpoints, concrete would be the most suitable material for the construction. This paper describes a method of concrete production on the Moon. It was derived from results of experiments which took into account the low acceleration of gravity and the vacuum on the Moon.
