Abstract:

Recent observations of friction factors at armor coat forming discharges suggest the presence of distinct geometric patterns in the locations of the coarsest grains in armor coats. A statistical tool is suggested to prove the existence of such patterns. The tool is tested, using a computer simulation of the armor coat forming process.
