TRUMPET: A TR20plus Watershed Model?Version 1.04

by Ernest J. Putnam, USDA, United States,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Critical Water Issues and Computer Applications

Abstract:

The TRUMPET watershed model is a microcomputer application which expands upon the widely used SCS TR20 hydrology computer program by providing user-friendly, interactive input and file handling. Various modes of input can be selected, depending on the user's experience, including help, prompts, and menus. TRUMPET includes complete breach hydrograph generation and reach routing for single sites or sites in series using the procedures in the SCS TR60 publication. Expands upon TR20 by providing popular sections of the SCS DAMS2 program including principal, emergency, and freeborad hydrograph routing through single-stage or two-stage drop inlet pipe systems.
