Abstract:

The City of Scottsdale, Arizona has begun planning its strategy for meeting its future needs by recognizing artificial recharge, subsurface storage, and recovery as an integral component of comprehensive master plan in concert with water distribution, wastewater collection and water reclamation. This paper presents an overview of the factors involved in planning and implementing an artificial recharge/recovery program.
