Abstract:

Engineering projects may cause water quality impacts in estuarine systems. It is important to assess those impacts during the planning phase of the project so that mitigation measures can be incorporated into the final design. Physical hydraulic models are used in evaluating potential water quality impacts associated with project induced salinity intrusion.
