Abstract:

Analytical continuous expressions of the material constitutive law are required by equivalent linearization techniques in nonlinear stochastic dynamics. Extensions to study 3D frames, as well as bi- or three-axial stress states, is straightforward once the multiaxial stress-strain relationship under cyclic non-proportional loading is provided in an analytical form. The latter task is investigated from both the endochronic and the classical plasticity point of view.
