Abstract:

Roller compacted concrete pavements were first developed in the U. S. by the Corps of Engineers in 1975. Since that time, RCC pavements have been constructed throughout much of the U. S. The Corps' experience with RCC pavements has led to specifications for guidance in the design and construction process. General descriptions of the specifications and comments regarding their objectives are provided.
