Abstract:

The Whiskeytown Hydroelectric Project, built for the City of Redding, California, provides an excellent example of the type of improvements in general arrangement which can be achieved during the detail design process. These changes occurred after the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) license was issued and the turbine/generator was purchased by the turnkey general contractor.
