Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Water Power '87

This paper discusses the importance of model testing for development and sharpening of interpretive techniques through which computational codes can be effectively used for the design of turbines and pump/turbines. Experience with computer aided flow analysis tools is presented through model test versus analytical correlations which have been developed.
