Abstract:

This paper presents standardized Neyrpic tubular turbines for Pontook and ByPass Hydroelectric Projects. Upstream elbow turbines have been selected for those sites. In this paper, the turbine hydraulic concept, mechanical design as well as simplified installation procedure, are described.
