Abstract:

Moment distribution has, for the past 30 years, been the most popular method of analysis for statically indeterminate structures. Programmed in Basic for the microcomputer with relative ease, this method uses virtually the same steps (algorithm or flow chart) as hand calculation. It requires very little memory space, permitting use on the smallest micro. Detailed instructions and a sample problem are given.
