Abstract:

This case study explains the Philippine government's program for the administration of its coastal zones. It analyzes the legal and institutional setup while emphasizing the use of law as an environmental management tool. The paper presents the Philippine coastal zone situation, management setbacks and the Master Plan for coastal zone management.
