Abstract:

The objective of this study is to understand the spatial expansion created by community activities in the urban community, as a prior stage to calculate the off-shore distance in the location of sea city, and to examine what kinds of factor affect the urban community. The study method is composed of 3 steps: (1) In the process of examining the urban community, a typical area is selected as the basis, and what kind of conditions from the community are understood; (2) The present status of community activity in each area, obtained in (1), is understood and the reason the activity is controlled like this, is clarified by questionnaires given to the residents. (3) To understand the present status of community activities in urban communities, the factors, which control the territory of urban community*****3 forming a coexistent configuration*****4, are examined using the quantification method of the second type based on results obtained in (2).
